![]() https://www.railwaygazette.com/proje.../55792.article I'm a little baffled by the kink at Reigate Avenue. It looks like they are destroying a recreation ground for no reason. -- Basil Jet recently enjoyed listening to Dog Faced Hermans - 1994 - Those Deep Buds |

Sport, well being, fitness, and recreation are well down most politicians' priorities as those promoting this know full well. |

Maybe installing a dedicated stop for the Sutton Sports village? The track looks as though it will run roughly along the extended course of the existing tarmac footway between Reigate avenue and Rose Hill, running just North of the bowling green and other buildings. The white line on the map here. :- -- Tciao for Now! John. |

![]() "Basil Jet" wrote in message ... https://www.railwaygazette.com/proje.../55792.article Interesting. The CW option does sees to be easier to build, and has a more workable location for terminus platforms and it also removes the nonsense of trying to include SW to Croydon and Wimbledon to Sutton services as part of the solution I'm a little baffled by the kink at Reigate Avenue. It looks like they are destroying a recreation ground for no reason. the alternative is going to be a very expensive high level bridge across the Rose Hill roundabout, as ground level transit is likely to make the, already very busy, roundabout impossible to navigate. tim |
