Yesterday I noticed the entire bank of 5 ticket
machines at Wood Green had CLOSED on them. As you can imagine this meant the lone guy in the ticket office was running about like a mad thing. Why does this happen ? Surely they can't all decide to jam up at the same time ? -- Edward Cowling - London - UK |

Why does this happen ? Surely they can't all decide to jam up at the same time ? Wood Green is quite often like this. The number of times I've turned up to find the main ticket machine closed because it's being emptied and the quick ticket machine broken because some idiot has tried to shove a coin in the card slot. The other machines are no good because they only take cash, don't take Oyster and don't do anything other than singles or returns. The queue for the office is too long so you have to go next door to Barclays get money out and then go to the next shop to get a travelcard. Just crap |
