I note that the wording of the 'Ask Oyster' answer about fare capping now
says it will be introduced *next year* rather than this year. It would be nice if they could get something going for the new year as it is getting a bit annoying now. Could they not at least fix the Tramlink Pre-Pay problem in the meantime (where switching between feeder bus and tram or changing trams in the one journey makes Pre-Pay more expensive than paper tickets because of having to touch in twice)? That seems like it ought to be a problem that could be dealt with in isolation and would need solving as part of the fare capping implementation anyway. |

I thought you only had to touch at the "start and end of your journey"? That is for the tube, National Rail and the DLR. With Tramlink you have to touch in at the start of each leg of your journey. |
