Hello,
I was looking at http://www.vanhool.com/products_bus_...Categ oryID=1 and wondered if such a vehicle could legally operate in London? There is draft legislation for 18.75m buses http://www.dft.gov.uk/stellent/group...dft_roads_pdf_ 507657.pdf so that means for the moment there is a shorter maximum length. Does anyone know what that is? David Bradley |

I think they have to worry about longer vehicles on roads which are simply too small such as those traversed by route 73 There is draft legislation for 18.75m buses http://www.dft.gov.uk/stellent/group...dft_roads_pdf_ 507657.pdf so that means for the moment there is a shorter maximum length. Does anyone know what that is? 18 metres is the length of the Bendis used in London at the moment. |
