On Match of the Day 2 tonight , the Charlton manager Alan Curbishley said that
Virgin Trains put on a Soccer Special hoping to get the Charlton fans on it for yesterday’s match, but all the London based Man U fans bought the train tickets first leaving Charlton fans and Alan’s son (I think) without any. Would anyone know if this is true? Was it an extra train (what stock?) and why weren’t tickets sold through Charlton FC to stop outsiders jumping the queue? Burkey |
