A lot of this goes back to how the line was constructed. -- Paul C Whilst we're on this section of Northern Line, could abyone please tell me why, between Angel & Old Street the train seems to traverse over a hollow sounding section of trackbed, making a noise similar to traversing a viaduct or girder bridge. Is there something below the tunnel lining to generate such a hollow sound? Nigel |
