From Camden New Journal 13 January 2005
Transport Talk AUTHOR and transport expert Christian Wolmar will be speaking at the AGM of campaign group West Hampstead Amenity and Transport. The pressure group claimed victory after partial Thameslink train services were reinstated for harried rush hour commuters in West Hampstead last month, following a WHAT petition. The meeting will begin at 7.30pm on Wednesday January 26 in West Hampstead Community Hall in Broomsleigh Street. ……………………………….............. ........................ .......................................... Let's just leave it at author shall we? Maybe they didn't have the guts to describe him as a bull****ter, but some of us know him better with that hat on. Why? While I agree with Paul C's claim that he's not Britain's foremost expert, the fact remains that he does know a lot about transport and is therefore an expert. |
