: Quick Question! Does anyone know if the 3 day travel cards are still available? Thanks. Good question. The "normal" 3 day travelcard was only launched in January and is still available, the only question being why anybody would want to buy one (the Z1-2 Peak version offers a £1.00 saving over 3 separate travelcards, the Z1-6 Peak and Z1-6 Off-peak offer no discount atall, other combinations of zones are not available on a 3 day travelcard). For non UK residents http://www.ticket-on-line.com lists a variety of options but won't actually let you buy anything at the moment as "PLEASE NOTE: Due to the imminent launch of exciting new Travelcard options for visitors to London, you can currently only purchase Visitor Travelcards with a start date on or before 10 April 2005. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause." and when you try to buy one the "earlist possible start date to allow time for the ticket to be delivered is Mon 11th April 2005". Doh! David |
