The Metropolitan Police Commissioner has just listed Aldgate East (and
not Aldgate) as one of the stations affected.

I think that must have been part of the general confusion. It was later
confirmed that the explosion was on an inner-rail circle line train (so
that excludes Aldgate East) between Aldgate and Liverpool Street. TV
footage and photos show the exterior of Aldgate station, but it seems
that some folk were evacuated via Aldgate East - I can't help thinking
that they may have taken a wrong turning at Aldgate East Junction, thus
adding to their misery.

Good to know you are okay, Kat.

Indeed. What of our other friends from LUL - could you post a
reassurance that you're okay, too, please!

I was one of the lucky ones as I was held at Eastcote in the rain for an
hour while it all went on.

What was announced and what was done were two entirely different
things. At my children's school the children were let out of school
regardless so don't talk such utter ********.
