to be completely honest Colin I don't know. I was as surprised as the
next person when the Northern Line driver at TCR said that Kings Cross
had opened for Vic Line services. We certainly had not had an internal E
Mail announcing it before I left the office. I get a sense that KX had
only been open for maybe an hour or less by the time I went through.

The first priority may well be to get lines working and people moving
with the money bit coming a slight second to having staff in a visible
and reassuring position. Certainly a number of the replacement buses or
supplementary buses on some routes are not taking fares.

I'm sure the ticket office and ticket machines will be covered pretty
soon.

During weekdays there is, until the evenings which are much less
frequent as are weekends. Last Sunday trains were every 30 minutes as
the Hertford north branch was shut. The N29 is like 2am on a Friday or
Saturday night.... as early as 10:30 on weekdays

every 15 as far as Ally Pally). Which is not much compared to the
18tph off-peak Piccadilly service.

When I caught the train the other day from Old Street to New Southgate
(the train was bound for Welwyn GC), it stopped at Hornsey and
Harringay, but skipped Ally Pally - the service pattern isn't quite as
simple as it seems.

You must have caught the 17:37 or 18:07 from Old St then. They're the only
down trains that call at Haringey and Hornsey and skip Alexandra Palace.
They are followed by the 17:42 and 18:12 that skip Haringey and Hornsey
and call at Alexandra Palace. At least that's what Table 24 in front of me
says.

around 14:20 - for a 15:30 start. Actual was about 15:45.
