I'm trying to make sense of the reported chronology:
12:53 Suspect shown on top of bus in CCTV frame 13:06 Suspect reportedly gets off bus in Hackney Road 13:30 Driver reports explosion near junction Hackney/Columbia Roads en route from Waterloo to Hackney Wick Timetabled distances (minutes): Hackney Wick, St Mary's Church 0 Hackney Road, Cambridge Heath end 10 Hackney Road, Columbia Road end 14 Waterloo 30 I can't reconcile the bus's being in Hackney Road at both 13:06 and 13:30 with its direction. It might _just_ be possible if the suspect got off at the Cambridge Heath end while the bus was travelling to Hackney Wick, where it turned around with no break. But then it would be travelling toward Waterloo at the time of the explosion. A press photo definitely shows Hackney Wick as the destination. Does anyone have any better _facts_? I suspect the accuracy of the 13:06 report. I see also, btw, that there's no mention of when the suspect was first seen on the bus. Has that been reported anywhere, or was it kept confidential? -- Iain Archer To email, please use Reply-To address |
