Ask someone who lost everything they own in a fire during a fire strike if they support fire strikes? As has been said before, the fat cats will give themselves big pay rises as will M.P.s but the working man needs collective power, or will be stamped on. I was in A.S.L.E.F. when Lord Denning decided it was against the law to work to rule. Who ever heard such rubbish, it took five days and properly informed debate before he overturned his ruling. I back the unions and will only recant when bosses give the proletariat the same rises and perks as they give themselves. -- Clive |
