You are. Compare yourselves to medical staff , police etc. And don't
even bother with the standard issue "well thats up to them/they're
unions
etc" bull**** speech. You're overpaid. End.

Personally I voted for strike action, because these policies are
draconian in the extreme, it takes something to get me to vote for a
strike, I don't think it will actually come to ASLEF going out on
strike, but the RMT are a different kettle of fish and like wasting
their members money.

Something I've always wondered. If you lot down at LU find your jobs
so much hassle and stress that you always want to strike , why don't
you do what everyone else in the working population does when they
hate their jobs and bloody resign? Most people in my industry (IT)
usually move on within 2 - 3 years. Why can't you lot? There are only 2

reasons I can think of:

A) Your job is a cushy number and you all know it so you'll never leave

or

B) You're all too ****ing dim to get employment doing anything else.

Which is it?

They do an effective job of that just by existing.

There just no getting away from it. You really have got a way with words.

It's an accurate summary of my opinions.

Your not on the LU negotiating team by any chance?

Negotiations? What negotiations? It's straight to ballot these days,
since "industrial relations have broken down"!

Exactly.

How about trying negotiating? Or how about waiting until things are
imposed, not merely consulted on?

It's a strange attitude: "you're asking our opinion, so we're going on
strike".

BOLTAR GIVE US A KISSSSSSSSSS

I'm just waiting for the day someone gives some striking
drivers a smack. And I'm not talking about the kissing kind.

If they didn't want to negotiate, they'd impose policies rather than
consulting on proposals.

Then again, I wouldn't balme them for not wanting to negotiate with
Crow and his cronies who revel in the publicity they get by causing
untold damage to London.

Mate , if I could have done over a striking driver or 2 on the
last strike and got away with it I would have. Those RMT
******s outside Arnos Grove with their 1970s throwback
banners would have been the first on my list. You morons
have no clue how you seriously **** people off, its all
a ****ing game to you and your witless union. For some
of us its our livelihoods affected. I'm self employed and
if I don't get into work I don't get paid and I don't
appreciate dickheads like you finding it all a big lads-together
laugh.

And if they strike they don't get paid a cent more than you. Why not
shut your gob and find out why the discontent?

Can i ask what you have done to improve medical staff and police salaries.
As i have said before i have taken part in marches in support of fire
fighters and, going back, the miners and a good few in between. You would be
very welcome to join us in the future. Somehow i doubt we will see you.

A tube drivers options are rather limited seeing that there is only LU to
work for plus i dont suppose you would want to pay higher fares for all the
training that would have to be done. So thats a none starter.

So everyone that dosent like there jobs resigns. Thats so wrong its
laughable.

As for moving on every 2 to 3 years that sounds a bit sad to me. Still i
imagine your work mates breath a sigh of relieff that someone as adusive
and, later in this thread, violent as you has moved on.
