Possably the trial for the new road tax evasion cameras. It has been muted
that they may be tested on a road such as the M11 in a place where traffic is forced to slow down enough for the camera to be sucessful "Mike Harrison" wrote in message ... Just noticed some new cameras at the bottom of the M11 - one by the existing (highly profitable) conventional speed camera, another on the other side nearby - just the pole had been installed last time I looked. The cameras themselves look similar to the blue trafficmaster number-plate reading ones, but they, and the pole, are bright green. there are 2 cameras facing the front of traffic. There is a horizontal bar on the pole below the cameras, but I suspect this is for mounting other equipment - doesn't look like an antenna. Anyone know what these are ? |
