In a press release dated 4th May TfL have a article on a station called "Haringey", How have they kept this "new" station top secret, as it does not appear on any maps! (yes I am taking the P@#%) Whilst on station names, can the long suffering punters and staff be further confused by the renaming of "Thameslink" stations by the "F in circle" people (with Notwork Rail's approval) to:- "First City Capital Connect" "First Kings Cross Capital Connect" "First West Hampstead Capital Connect". Wonder they havn't thought of it already! The stations with Thameslink in their title are not going to be renamed. I've read this in at least two separate places. The name applies to the line not the franchisee - as discussed on here a few days ago. -- Paul C Admits to working for London Underground! |
