I beg to differ.

Maybe in some slum areas where civilisation has completely disappeared queueing
is a thing of the past but not (school closing time excepted) on the routes I
tend to use.

I tried to queue for the bus only to have people push and shove past.
Now I just walk straight to the front. Look what London has done to me!

Don't lower your standards just because of the mob: I certainly haven't.

When you say things like this and then try to justify your position as
being because of "politeness" and "manners", all you succeed in doing
is making yourself look completely ridiculous.
