I'm also very surprised that Westfield (the developers of
the adjacent retail complex) are not insisting on "White City" since they are paying for it. I guess they're going to come up with a new name for it. White City would be a pretty dumb name if the main entrance is intended to be Shepherds Bush (Cen) station which will be a lot closer than the White City station is.
