Southern and Brighton & Hove Buses are apparently planning to
introduce Oystercards to Brighton according to this article. http://www.theargus.co.uk/display.va...d_tr ains.php It mentions compatibility with the TfL scheme, but I would imagine this will be through ITSO standards.. |

This is probably part of the move to smart cards (ITSO) which is gathering momentum. It will probably become mandatory when the national free travel for pensioners comes in, in order to verify the eligibility and cost allocation.
