if Edmonton green railway station is run by ONE don't you think its
about time you took down the WAGN sign? Indeed. It isn't the most subtle of signage either. When they applied it back in 2002 they claimed it was to help the visibility of the railway station! I find it difficult to imagine that people either didn't know it was there or struggled to spot it. The other thing that irritated me is that the station name signs on the platforms for many of the stations on the line had been replaced by WAGN and looked quite neat. See http://anidea.co.uk/lower-edmonton/i...2/100-1036.jpg for an example. Now the natural thing for 'one' to do if they wanted to apply their branding was to place it over the purple square at the left hand end. Instead they chose to apply it at the other end of the sign so you ended up with the station names butting up against the logo in a rather ugly fashion. |
