Was anybody stuck on the northern section of the M25 Monday night? I
was going anti clockwise and went through Potters Bar rather than join at J24. Why on earth weren't they diverting traffic down the M1 then back up the M11 rather than down the A1M and back up the A10. The tailback was almost back to the M1 anyway and where is the sense in going up the A10 when it is only a little bit further round the North Circular to the M11 or heaven forbid carry on until the A12 or A13. The north circular is frequently almost at a standstill anyway a lot of the time in the evening rush hour without all the diverted M25 traffic added on top. They were probably trying to save the NC from gridlock. B2003 |
