Are there any changes of train needed between Euston and St Pancress on the tube and how easy is it to use the bus between these two stations and also please can anyone tell me the walking distance between the two ? . ITYM St Pancras. One stop on the northbound Victoria Line (any train will do). One stop on the southbound Northern Line City Branch (any train will do). Buses 10, 30, 73, 91, 205, 390 and 476 all run from the bus station in front of Euston station direct to Kings Cross. These are all very frequent services - there is probably a bus every 1-2 minutes during the day and even every 5-10 minutes in the middle of the night! http://www.tfl.gov.uk/buses/spiders/pdf/euston-2087.pdf shows the stop positions at Euston. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/buses/spiders/...cross-2150.pdf shows the stop positions at Kings Cross St Pancras. Note that you will be in the cashless bus zone at Euston so if paying cash you MUST buy a ticket from a machine by the stop before boarding. If you have obtained your Oyster card then simply touch it on the pad by the drivers machine on all routes. On the 73 this is a bendy bus where you can board by any door - there are validators as you enter to allow you to tap your card if you board at door 2 or 3 towards the middle or back of the bus. It's about 10-15 mins walk depending on walking speed and how encumbered you are. Of the three options I'd probably take the bus as it saves the hassle of descending down into the tube just for one stop. -- Paul C Admits to working for London Underground! |
