Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a map of all of the Controlled Parking Zones in London, or Centralish London? Perhaps each borough might produce one? TIA. -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

... Hi all, Does anyone know if there is a map of all of the Controlled Parking Zones in London, or Centralish London? Not as far as I know. Perhaps someone at the ALG (Association of London Govt) might have produced one. It's not really in any single Borough's interest to produce a map showing anything outside the Borough boundary. Perhaps each borough might produce one? TIA. You'd need to look on each Borough's website and, if nothing shown, contact each Borough's parking office. LBHammersmith have CPZ maps on their website, but they are the only ones that I know of. If you wanted to produce such a London-wide map, I'd imagine it would involve a lot of visits to reference libraries and Town Halls. In general, CPZs are spreading. In my Borough, two new CPZs have started operating this year, and two more are planned to start shortly. The setup costs for three of these four (which are all residential areas around train and tube stations) have been paid by TfL. Robin |

It is gross negligence that setting up of CPZs round stations is not generally accompanied by provision of cycle parking so that there is a real alternative to driving to the stations.
