Sorry about the rant but.....
Driving daily from Harrow to Park Royal, there are so many potholes in Harrow, Wembley and Park Royal. Some are so bad that you have to drive around them and into the path of on-coming vehicles. I have seen better Roads in Ghana, Thailand, Mauritius, etc. Where is all the money from Road Tax, Fuel Duties, Parking Fines going....and who is liable if vehicles get damaged. |

It's dangerous to cycle at much more than walking pace in many places - which defeats the object of using a bike in the first place. Living out of town, but bringing my bike in on through journeys, it's no better out in the sticks. There are better roads in downtown Baghdad. |

On a journey from Harrow to Park Royal, I believe you will have almost entirely used roads "maintained" by the London Borough Of Brent. They presumably have other spending priorities. |

They also have a web page on which you can report them (you need to be specific). Tedious, but it generally gets results. See www.brent.gov.uk. Colin McKenzie -- No-one has ever proved that cycle helmets make cycling any safer at the population level, and anyway cycling is about as safe per mile as walking. Make an informed choice - visit www.cyclehelmets.org. |
