"Mr Wright is planning to sue TfL which is responsible for the
maintenance of drains on red routes..." Is it? TfL responded to Mr Wright so apparently it is! |

Red Routes are the responsibility of TfL in all respects, and that includes drains, or at least the entries to them from the road. Where was your quote from? -- Richard J. (to email me, swap 'uk' and 'yon' in address) It's from the Mitcham & Morden Guardian (which is why I didn't mention it at first!) A recently-reopened pub now called Blue was flooded by the Wandle, and the owner reckons he would not have been flooded had the drains been maintained well. The pub was once the Royal Six Bells. |
