Just to let everyone know that the strikes planned by the RMT and TSSA
members, who work for Metronet, for next week are suspended. Hooray! Paul Corfield |

There is the potential for this issue to run and run depending on what actually happens to the Metronet Infraco businesses. I suspect the slightest hint of any deviation from what Mr Crow thinks is agreed will cause ballot papers to fly out of the windows of RMT HQ. Of course, he may have other, more political, motivations about preventing any sale of the Metronet businesses but that becomes very hard to construct an industrial dispute around. I can't see him being particularly deterred by any apparent or perceived problem like that. -- Paul C Admits to working for London Underground! |
