It's roughly 50% longer - over 300m compared with about 200m from Fenchurch Street to Tower Hill. But it surely must still compare favourably with a lot of London's more difficult interchanges. And if you wanted to get from, say, Hackney Wick to East Finchley it would be by far the easiest route. The only reason I can think of for not marking it as such is that TfL are worrying about overcrowding at Camden Town. I think that would also be a reason. Also, there's no entry to Camden Town on Sunday afternoons which complicates its signage as an interchange. This may be more of an issue. It could be dealt with using the same kind of asterisk that denotes Saturday closing or something. I think there are quite a lot of journies that would be easier if the map had a symbol that could denote an on-street or lengthy interchange: something to suggest that at, say, Forest Gate/Wanstead Park or Seven Sisters/South Tottenham, interchange was possible but not for the faint hearted.
