Registered tonight at King's Cross St. Pancras Tube Ticket Hall, where
there is a large sign advertising railcard discounts on Oyster PAYG. Took about 15 minutes, including the need to register my card. They entered my photocard number, which I suppose means I am expected to take it with me everywhere. -- Michael Hoffman |

Interesting, they entered my railcard number - not the photocard! Best Wishes, LEWIS |

With a Network railcard it'll be the combination of the fact that the weekday minimum fare is higher than the highest TfL single fare, or higher than the most expensive off peak travelcard fare, and it isn't available until after 10am. Could work at weekends though... Paul S |

Maybe the reason for not having a discount on Network Railcards or Annual Oystercards is the lack of a photocard? Senior Railcards, which are included, don't need a photocard. Annual Gold Cards and Network Railcards however give no discount before 10:00 M-F (09:30 of other Railcards) and there is also the M-F minimum fare of £10.00 for Network Railcards. Roll on simplification! -- Mike D |
