DfT: More rail stations to be made accessible
Not seen this on here, so I thought I'd mention that the DfT has
approved funding to make more stations accessable by wheelchairs between 2012-5. http://www.gnn.gov.uk/environment/fu...partment=False Stations within Greater London: Brockley Bromley South Camden Road Elstree & Borehamwood Gospel Oak Honor Oak Park Ilford Limehouse New Eltham New Malden Tottenham Hale Walthamstow Central West Hampstead Thameslink Worcester Park |

Seems a bit silly to only make one of the three interchange stations at West Hampstead accessible..! LEWIS |

At LURS the other month, Ian Brown said the West Hampstead interchange project won't happen. Anyway, the Thameslink station is of much more importance, especially for people with luggage. |
