Im sure there is a specialist demand for this type of video. But am I the only one who thinks £19.95 is a bit steep for a video of train track? Surely a gap in the market for train drivers to add to their income. Could a train driver set up a video camera in his cab and record the journey? Along as it didn't distract him? I think the price is a bit high too but this is a specialist market with limited appeal. Having had a short cab ride it would be an ideal way for a driver to make some extra money but he is probably taking a risk by doing it as it probably breaches H&S regs etc. -- Andrew Electronic communications can be altered and therefore the integrity of this communication can not be guaranteed. writes but he is probably taking a risk by doing it as it probably breaches H&S regs etc. Why? If the camera is just sitting their recording and as long as it didn't distract him in anyway I don't see the problem? And if these videos are already on sale then I don't see how their could be a security risk. Although Im sure H&S have some stupid little rule to stop it? -- CJG |

Yes I expect H&S do have some rule to stop it. -- Andrew Electronic communications can be altered and therefore the integrity of this communication can not be guaranteed. Unless I'm very much mistaken, it was Tom Beevers

Its not in the Catalogue, but check www.video125.com http://www.video125.co.uk It's not on their site yet. Mind you, it is possibly the most poorly designed, inaccessible website anyone has ever managed to create. In my work, I frequently use it as a 'worst case' example when training people. BTN |

In my work, I frequently use it as a 'worst case' example when training people. The text doesnt fit into the images, the images overlap and text is covered by Images. Most of the text _is_ actually an image. It's truly the most horrendous thing I've seen on the web - and in that regard it's up against some stiff competition. If I wasn't so busy in the real world, I'd offer to design and build them a basic, attractive, and accessible website for free, because I do really like their products, and they're not doing a good sales job at all with that site. RMS I take it you mean there's an advert for it on the back, rather than the video itself? |
