Picked up a copy this morning covering Highbury, Holloway & Islington.
Now A5 size and replace the "Out & About" Guides. Overall they are better laid out IMO, though the fold out street map has gone. Heaps of info on buses including Spider maps. Disappointing is the amount of coverage for tube & rail services, especially first & last trains for more stations. For example only half a page is given over each to the Piccadilly & Victoria lines. BBC London have a section on local listings for shopping, eating out etc., presumably as with the Out & About Guides they assist with the funding of these publications. -- Phil Richards London, N4 |
