well.

I tried my real (ancient) photocard number, and it still says 'we
can't price this online, e-mail us'.

BTW, the photocard number format is usually ABC1234.

I get errors on all of the above, but I can use the FCC one:
https://www.fcc.trainsfares.co.uk/season/st_home.asp

The links from that page seem to have stopped working now and they don't
do weeklies.

Bloimey; I get an instant 404 error on trying that link. *Maybe it's
too late at night.

Right, it's back now, but turns out to be the same engine, and still
won't give any prices.

Thanks both, but it just gives me errors unfortunately, or tells me it

Try the Chiltern-branded version: http://snurl.com/3g26h

For the Destination, enter "London" and it'll give you both the
point-to-point and Travelcard rates.

Thanks. This seems to use the same engine, and now I am thinking that
it's the fake photocard number that's causing the problem. Oh well.

I had problems with this engine when I used it a couple of years ago.
Eventually I worked out the problem: if you entered something like
Wandsworth Town to Brighton, it would claim that no season tickets
were available, but if you tried Brighton to Wandsworth Town, it would
correctly come up with Brighton to R2356. Basically, the Travelcard
zonal end of the journey has to be the destination, not the origin.

I can't seem to get a price whichever way round I try it now. I don't
think it's down to the station being in the relevant franchise,
because it seems to link into the same engine for all the TOCs that
use it.
