Roland Perry gurgled happily, sounding much like they
were saying: What about Denham. It's a long way off the M25, by car (rather than flying crow). Rubbish. About a mile of M40, then about a mile and a bit of dual-carriageway A40. |

That's the way out to the south, plus you have to get to it from the north. The train service only 2tph too. -- Roland Perry |

It's less than 10 mins from J17 of the M25 , pick up at Denham, get back on the M25 where it meets the M40. I use this route sometimes to avoid traffic on the M25.. Mike O |

But it's even quicker to use Rickmansworth or Chorleywood. I used to drive through Denham *before* there was an M25, and later lived in Chorleywood for six months. -- Roland Perry |

The queues are often back to the Sarrat turn. Does Rickmansworth having anywhere to wait? Kevin |

What are the queues like at J17, which is where the OP would have been exiting? Does Rickmansworth having anywhere to wait? It's a fairly conventional station forecourt, so should be OK outside the rush hours. There's a big pub just across the road and last time I picked someone up I waited in the pub. -- Roland Perry |

What are the queues like at J17, which is where the OP would have been exiting? Non-existant, for Chorleywood, but it's a bit back-lane. It can be a bit slow heading towards Ricky, though. |
