At least some have a sense of humour - there's a road by Sheffield Airport called Letsby Avenue. Appropriately enough when it was built the only building on it was a police station. You have been bitten by a Urban Legend I think Postcode of "police station" and Google/Multimap link please. Streetmap claims that there is no "Letsby Avenue" anywhere in Britain. -- Richard J. However it appears that the name is genuine but the cause was a spoof letter with a plod heading. Now check your satnavs for Butt Hole Road... -- Old anti-spam address cmylod at despammed dot com appears broke So back to cmylod at bigfoot dot com |

However, the airport in question has now closed, so maybe it's been dug up and turned into a business "park" already, and google is out of date. -- David Cantrell | A machine for turning tea into grumpiness Suffer the little children to come unto me, as their buying habits are most easily influenced. -- Marketroid Jesus |

An airport is presumably assumed to have runways. Whereas the flat roof of a tall building can even function as a heliport. michael adams .... |
