May we be permitted sight of the evidence for it? Err, the 2 minutes per station and 5 minutes per change estimate has been used for *many* years - I've known about it since I came to London a long time ago. In the current Piccadilly Line timetable most trains do it in about 75 mins, although one or two manage 71 mins and others take 79 mins. It is about 15-22 mins faster using HEX from Paddington but involves 2 changes. David |

London UK writes Bounds Green to Heathrow on the Piccadilly Line, mid morning on Monday. How long should I allow for the journey ?? WTT says 1:16 AGR - HRC. There isn't a timing point at Bounds Green but 3 mins sounds about right. -- Steve Fitzgerald has now left the building.
