What language is this? :-) Sorry, I missed out a few words. What I intended to say was that not only were the trains not checked, but it was permitted for passengers to travel around the loop. In the past it wasn't permitted, but was sometimes done, accidentally or otherwise. City Hall station is rather impressive, but I don't know if the lights are normally left turned on. As of a few months ago NEW York now has a second abandoned station on a very tightly curved loop, South Ferry. I was in New York, quite by chance, for the centenary. |
