I was googling around looking for a station layout for the new Stratford
interchange when it gets the second DLR, and CTRL in. I came across a report entitled "So, what mysteries does the Jubilee Line Extension hold?", from "transportforall.com" http://tinyurl.com/ry6o I quote "Volunteer A [who was with a person that couldn't use the escalator] found staff particularly helpful when they stopped the escalator for his wife to walk down" Stopped an escalator for 5 minutes while a passenger walks down it, inconveniencing hundereds of other users? I hope this isn't a typical event. |

A non-moving escalator is a stair. -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

Well the 0.0001% of people using the tube where that is the case, I apologise, however stairs at some stations on the central line for starters have "these stairs have 4,352 steps, use them only in an emergency". |
