I settle for that, far better than an under privileged brat who thought he could do as he pleased simply because he had all our money. Lemme guess, Gordon Brown again? Col |

And they'll be running the country in nine months time! Yeah, and they'll make such a mess in the **** pile won't they. People griping about the state Labour are in currently seem to have blotted out from their memories the complete screw-up the last time Conservatives were in charge. Corrupt in oh so many ways, oh yes. Self-serving, completely. And honestly, though I'm not a great Brown fan I'd rather have him in charge than that twerp call-me-Dave, who will say ANYTHING to get his bunch of wasters elected. It's going to be "not so much an election, more a battle of smear campaigns". Oh, and to get it back on topic, expect the whole sorry thing to be played out as vox pops on the streets of London and not too many other places (as usual) -- Brian "Fight like the Devil, die like a gentleman." www.imagebus.co.uk/shop |

There are just as many Toffs in the ranks of the Labour party. For a start, there’s Baron Mandelson of Foy in the county of Herefordshire and Hartlepool in the county of Durham, First Secretary of State, Secretray for Business, Innovation and Skills, President of the Board of Trade and Lord President of the Council. You do know he'll change allegiances if the Tories win, don't you? The odious creep is to Labour what Normo Tebbs was to Thatcher's government - both had more oil than is healthy in a person - except Tebbit would never change sides. -- Brian "Fight like the Devil, die like a gentleman." www.imagebus.co.uk/shop |

![]() Yeah, and they'll make such a mess in the **** pile won't they. People griping about the state Labour are in currently seem to have blotted out from their memories the complete screw-up the last time Conservatives were in charge. The Tories got the job of cleaning up after Old Labour’s carnage. True, they screwed up over the Euro but that was over and done with after a couple of years. Brown’s black hole will take decades to clear up during which time all the diehard Labour faithful (probably still in opposition) will no doubt be blaming the nasty Tories just like they blamed Thatcher for all those years. One thing this government has finally taught me is that, without fail, the left seems to be entirely composed of people that never bothered to study mathematics or, if they did, forgot about them at the first opportunity. The Labour party truly has become the home of the BEd and the BSocSc, from a background in the public sector, and without the first f**king idea of what a balance sheet so much as looks like. |

More4, 7th Oct at 21:00 More4, 8th Oct at 00:40 That will be interesting. Haven't they always tried to distance themselves from the club's more outrageous antics, claiming they were merely on the periphary of the club? Col Yes, that famous outrageous Bullingdon Club member was David Dimbleby. I wonder if it is just people who never went to university who dont understand about these things, the vast majority of university sports clubs and societies are excuses to get extremely drunk, its just how it is. They all have their own membership criteria. Why all the fuss? Extremely drunk is fine. Deliberately destroying other peoples' property, 'vandalism' in other words, most definately is not. Col Of course it isn't be you aren't seriously saying that only these students from this background do this? The reality is that ALL students if they get into these clubs and sports societies get into this sort of thing. The problem is ALL students are a seen as OK and it's high jinks but were they off some rough estate and in town they are drunken chav rioters. Are you saying that 'normal' students book a function room in a restaurant then deliberately trash the place? I think not. a few accidental broken glasses amid the revelry perhaps, so much like a Friday/Saturday night in any city centre pub then. Are you saying that students at some other function haven't got out of hand or a fight started ending with the place being trashed? seriously? Anything else on this thing about Cameron is just plain reverse snobbery at best and pure class jealousy at worst. Spare me the Class War **** please.... Oh sorry only you can do that I forgot. What is so nauseating about these people is that they feel they can get away with such behaviour because they can simply buy their way out of it. Wreck your restaurant? No problem, her's some cash to pay for the damage. Smash all the windows in your car? That's OK, we'll leave a cheque to cover the repairs. They are morally bankrupt. Talk about knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing! In short, nothing to do with class jealousy but an example of rich people behaving badly *becasuse* they are rich. oh *please* |

Oh and there was that little business over our currency falling through the floor under the Conservatives too. I think that got blamed on "outside forces" too. And the personal corruption of so many of the Conservative administration members puts the business of MPs' wages well into the shade. ![]() I'm not saying Labour is great: I AM saying the Conservatives were considerably worse. I don't think the penny has quite yet dropped as to what a f**king great hole this Labour government, and Brown in particular, has dropped us into compared to other tits ups. There’s a whole magnitude of greater incompetence this time that’s going to make even WW2 seem like the good old days. |
