London Overground Extension To Clapham Junction
To run the whole service reliably (and it's designed for up to 18 or even
20
tph ultimately) with adequate turnround times and margins you'd need a
four platform station at Highbury, and...

I don't see the purpose of terminating at Dalston Junction. Its
nowheresville.
Even if you want to get the NLL you have to walk to kingsland. Why doesn't
every train just go to highbury...

Is it too much to expect buses to actually stop at bus stops?
Presumably the research didn't include those I see on almost every bus
journey who signal the bus too late (either with a V sign or an angry
fist) as it sails straight pass compulsory bus...

I wonder what the rationale is there - I had been pondering that it
was some sort of systems issue (that I couldn't quite decipher), but
actually I wonder if it might not be more of a safeguard...

I wasn't suggesting otherwise but trying to identify the precise condition
you are trying to describe. I think what you're saying is that whichever

And what would happen if I touched in at Brockley, then did nothing
else before touching out at Brockley an hour later?

I ought to have paid more attention before, but how the eck can

Perhaps even more to the point, why are Liverpool St NR to...

[OT] Postal counties to be dropped from the Postcode Address File

the inclusion of the street and post town provide a useful "checksum"
to ensure the postcode is correct, and the street...

on one of the Oyster readers on the tram platform, then it's quite
possible there'd be no ill-effect - Tramlink allows one...

toddle 5-6 mins down the road to Hackney Downs. They stop right outside
and it's not a bad connection given the NXEA...

and is also sometimes missing entries (and indeed exits). No idea why
